World Cup 2010 – Quarterfinals TV schedule – Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay still alive – The FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa resumes play today with two Quarterfinal matches. Eight teams remain in the tournament. Brazil faces off against Netherlands first on Friday.
The United States is now out of the Cup after its loss to Ghana, 2-1 on June 26. However, four Western Hemisphere teams are still alive, all from South America — Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay.

2nd Stage – Quarterfinals:
Friday, 7/2: 9:30 a.m., ESPN/ESPN3.com: Brazil v Netherlands, Port Elizabeth, #57
Friday, 7/2: 2 p.m., ESPN/ESPN3.com: Uruguay v Ghana, Johnannesburg, #58
Sat., 7/3: 9:30 a.m., ABC: Argentina v Germany, Capetown, #59
Sat. 7/3: 2 p.m., ABC: Paraguay v Spain, Johannesburg, #60
The winners of each of these matches advance to the Semifinals, which will be played on Tuesday, 7/6 and Wednesday, 7/7. The Third Place match will be played on Saturday 7/10, with the World Cup Title Match ending the tournament taking place on Sunday 7/11.
