A Blog entry by White House Deputy Communications Director Jen Psaki, indicates that the President was pleased as punch that the House of Representatives came back early from their district work sessions today to pass another important measure for the economy: support to help states stay above water during difficult times and, in particular, to prevent hundreds of thousands of teacher layoffs.
Doing some research into this legislation will prove that this move by the House that is lead by Nancy Pelosi, is nothing more than an attempt to financially uplift (teachers) unions. What, you say! Yes, much of this money is designated in such a was so as to guarantee that union members will get their retirement and vacations. Why? Because some unions have become almost as insolvent as the U.S. Government!
Quoting from the Blog entry:
“The Recovery Act gets a lot of attention as a centerpiece of the President’s economic agenda — justifiably so given that it’s been responsible for about 3 million jobs — but the legislation the House passed today is only the latest example of the President’s ongoing efforts to boost our economy.”
Please don’t insult the good people of America Ms. Psaki! Most of us are smarter than to believe this kind of liberal drivel. How do “you” calculate 3 million jobs Ms. Psaki? Is it in saved jobs, or created jobs, or is it just plain manipulation of numbers? The term “saved jobs” that has been used by this President on many occasions is the most difficult of all of the statements to swallow! There has been no increase in jobs, and most analysts are now talking about a double dip recession. Wow! Double dipping, just like Congress has done with another phase of the so called “Recovery Act” that hasn’t contributed to any increase in jobs or help stabilize the economy in most peoples opinions!
Of course, it was no surprise to anyone that the Blog entry by Psaki had yet another negative comment about Obama’s Republican rivals. It said the following:
But there remains much work to do to overcome efforts by Republicans in the Senate to block additional job-creating measures.
Touché Ms. Psaki! Job creating measures? Your kidding right? It would be more like money spending measures that Republican are against! Congress will soon find out just how much the people of this country despise the Democrats and President Obama in the upcoming mid-terms and then in the 2010 General Elections.
