“Meet the Winemaker” Dinner with Ballentine Vineyards
This event will be held at Terroir in downtown Longmont on Wednesday, July 28 at 6:30 pm.
Mizuna salad with fresh melon, crisp smoked prosciutto, crumbled Haystack chevre, and mint vinaigrette paired with the Malvasia Bianca
Lobster and sweet corn risotto with sweet corn and truffle emulsion paired with the Chenin Blanc
Duck tortellini served in a duck demi glace with hearty greens paired with the Cabernet Franc
Grilled bison flank steak served with oxtail hash with a blueberry infused red wine sauce paired with the Petite Sirah
Blackberry soup served with frozen yogurt and a coconut tuille
Tickets for the event are $45 excluding tax and gratuity. Seating for this event is community style and is limited to 15 people so be sure to get your reservations soon!
Also get your reservations in for Terroir’s “Uprooted” Farm Dinner to be held at My Mamma’s Hat Farm in Niwot, Colorado featuring the wines of Van Duzer Vineyards of Willamette Valley, Oregon. This event will be held on Sunday, August 1st at 5 pm.
Passed Hors d’Oeuvres (paired with the Pinot Gris):
– Profiteroles stuffed with crab salad
– Ahi poke on wonton chips
– Cucumber chips with fresh herb Haystack goat cheese mousse
Grilled trout served over grilled summer squash with melon and bay scallop salsa paired with the Rose of Pinot Noir
Roasted sockeye salmon served with grilled mushroom salad and smoked cippollini onion and pinot noir jam paired with the Vintner’s Cuvee Pinot Noir
Smoked duck breast served with sweet potato puree and cherry compote paired with the Dijon Blocks Pinot Noir
Grilled peach shortcake with honey whipped mascarpone cheese paired with the Peak Spirits Peach Appertif Brandy
