Nan returns to Fangtasia as Russell looks on from a rooftop. He’s got Talbot’s remains in a lovely crystal dish and he’s talking to them about revenge. Nan tells Eric that the Authority has disavowed all knowledge of Eric’s problems. They want him to kill Russell, on his own.
Nan climbs into her limo, headed for Oregon. As she snacks on a fresh young thing, the TV shows an anchor announcing the growing support for the Vampire Rights Amendment. Suddenly Russell shows up behind the anchor, ripping his spine out and tossing the body aside. He sits down and reveals the true face of vampires. He looks into the camera saying, ”Why would we seek equal rights? You are not our equals… We will eat you. After we eat your children.” Yikes! Nan must feel really stupid right about now.
