In week 45 of the countdown to find the number one pro wrestler of the past 25 years, we take a look at No. six of the list, The Rock.
-Seven time WWE World Champion
-Two time WCW World Champion
-Two time Intercontinental Champion
-Five time WWE/World Tag Team Champion (Three times with Mankind and once each with The Undertaker and Chris Jericho)
-2000 Royal Rumble winner
The Rock is easily one of the most popular pro wrestlers of all time. Most pro wrestling fans would agree that he is the best of all time with a microphone in his hand. Meanwhile, his in-ring skills were always a bit over average in my eyes. Rock is one of the main reasons the pro wrestling world was at an all time popularity peak in the late 90’s and early 00’s, making him a no brainer at this point for this spot on the countdown.
