Day two of ‘the week of weird jewelry’ and my head is spinning. If you experience similar sensations it only means are also suffering from a mild case of kitschy style fever!

Featured at the top of today’s article is Masquefaire’s Alien Abduction of Cow Earrings. ‘In 2004 while driving out of town at 4 am, I saw a football-field length black triangle that slowly moved perpendicular to my car. I seemed to drive under it for an eternity, which is how I judged its size. It was hovering over I-210 with no lights and making absolutely no noise, just a bone-jarring vibration. The only reason I spotted it was because the stars disappeared in a cloudless sky. I don’t do drugs; neither do I drink, so this thing was real.’ Says Ann Shelby
‘I’ve been studying the UFO phenomena ever since. And even though I wasn’t “abducted” that morning, the event inspired me to make a series of abduction earrings, including cows, cars and dinosaurs. Maybe it was the aliens who put the idea in my head. And for that, I thank them!’
I can only say I thank our space brothers for their inspiration as well!
Today’s features will work a little different. You can view the rest of the weird photos by clicking on the slideshow in the upper right corner of this page.
Something else from space! A Yellow Space Nug from phlaznatch. I’m going to pause for effect right now. I’m not even sure of what I just said.
Find phlaznatch on Facebook and on the web.
AnomalyJewelry’s Two Headed Kitten is so cute you’ll just spit! Don’t look at me like that! I didn’t make it.
Find AnomalyJewelry on Facebook and on the web.
I don’t really know where I WOULDN’T wear these Pinecone Earrings from Magpie’s Shop.
You can find them on the web as well as foraging in the woods for new fashion accessories.
And finally… Melanie Favreau’s Cry Baby Ring is for emo kids, people who have a hard time expressing their emotions and for anyone who wants to have a tattoo of a teardrop by their eye, but is afraid of the commitment.
Find her on Twitter and of course she blogs (probably while crying).
