Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Why are you here? If God told you why he designed you for a time such as this, what do you feel he would say? What do you feel he wants you to do in this life? Have you ever thought about your purpose? Being purpose-driven is a desire to pursue, persevere, and succeed. Purpose is the core of who we are in life and how we identify ourselves to others.
The month of August has just arrived, are we on schedule? In the beginning of this year, there were goals developed with a plan of completion. Most of the goals consisted of actions that needed to take place in order for an even larger goal to be fulfilled. It is time to view these goals, be honest with self, determine where you currently are, and figure out where you need to go.
It is nice to be honest with self to gain insight and a better understanding of one’s actions. Self-discovery is necessary. The year is almost over. Where do we go next?
First, find your vision plan, new year’s resolutions or that piece of paper where you numbered your goals for 2013 and see where you are and what you’ve already done. If you haven’t done that already, should you now? Of course you should, you are not too late. The great thing about this is that we still have time. The year is not over yet. We must act now, stay encouraged, and prepare for change. Preparation is key and action is vital.
Purpose will never fail us. Our purpose has its own agenda within us. When God granted us purpose, he gave us vision. No purpose will go unfulfilled or impossible to grasp. God knew who we were before he designed us. God will not fail us. We shall not fail. The time is now. Tap into your purpose and keep striving towards it. Encourage yourself and stay encouraged. The best is yet to come!
