After last week’s Elimination Ceremony, Jesse K. finally realized it would be a better strategy to go at this competition in couple form, as opposed to on his own. (Maybe he just realized that Elizabeth is crazy and would tell all the girls to vote him off if he didn’t do exactly as she wants). Jesse B. and Natalie decided to make out some more, since they hadn’t done enough of that yet.
Then, it was time for the second competition: a pie eating contest. Immediately, Krisily backed out due to the fact her gallbladder had been removed and can’t digest fat. It was probably in her best interests, since all the girls were throwing up the entire time. Jesse Kovacs even commented, “I’m pretty sure Tenley vomited into the pie and then continued to eat it.” In the end, it came down to Tenley and Gia, and Gia managed to pull through with the victory. When the guys sat down to eat, Craig’s strategy was to shove his entire head, hair included, into his pie. Hmm. Interesting tactic. Weatherman Jonathan, Wes, and Kiptyn were in the lead, but little Jonathan pulled through with the victory.
Jessie quickly ran off to tell Craig she heard people were talking about voting him off, while Jonathan and Gia discuss the groups in the house and who to take along on their dates.
When the time came to decide, Jonathan chose Gwen, Peyton, and Ashley on his date, and they all stripped down and used their bodies to paint. No tears from Jonathan this time around as he wore another Speedo. After they’d cleaned up, he pulled Peyton aside to talk strategy, and she told him she feels the house is going to split. When he pulled Ashley aside, she revealed that she’s nervous about taking a side. When it came time to chat with Gwen, Jonathan admitted that there is more of a romantic interest with Gwen, and that he didn’t want to talk game. She told the cameras there is no chance she’s going to get into a relationship with him. Sorry Weatherman – it appears as though having feelings for the oldest woman in the house isn’t working out in your favor, even if you gave her the rose at the end of your date.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Krisily complains about the “cool kids” and how the outsider girls want Craig to stick around. Elizabeth, Kiptyn, and Natalie discuss Weatherman’s strategy and who he took on his date.
The next day, Gia and Jonathan discuss his date, and she gets very frustrated that he took Ashley on the date. She tells him she is going to give the rose to Craig and that they need him to stick around. Peyton chimes in and says Ashley is on the other side.
Gia chose to take Wes, Craig, and Jesse B. on her date. She claimed to have put all the guys’ names in a bowl, but actually just wrote Jesse B. on every piece of paper. For the first time…ever, Gia was smart! Nice one. The group sat outside for dinner, and Gia pulled Craig away to tell him he would be receiving the rose for sure on this date to ensure he’d stay around. They talked strategy for a bit before joining the other two guys again. Jesse and Gia gave each other tattoos on their hands, while Wes and Gia give each other hand massages. Wes pulled out the big guns and told Gia she’s amazing, he’s crazy about her, and he wishes the circumstances were different. Of course, Gia didn’t expect this from Wes, gets dumb again, and gives him the rose instead of Craig. (She gives the rose to the guy who’s still calling Krisily “Krissy Lee.” Really? The one shown in the previews for next week with that dumb guitar singing that dumb song we’ve heard him sing five times already? Thanks, Gia. Thanks a lot).
At the mansion, Elizabeth declared herself a “dumb, smart girl” when talking to Jesse K. No, honey – you’re just dumb. Good try, though. Apparently, that was enough for him, because these two lovebirds ended up showering together. Jonathan and Krisily discuss how they have to keep Craig around. Jessie and Dave got cozy and made out in the hot tub, supposedly with Krisily listening in on everything, even though she appears to be paying no attention whatsoever. Apparently, she heard something, because she ran to tell Kiptyn what she saw right away.
The next day, Jesse B. talked to Natalie about her flirtatious behavior and pretty much nixed their relationship, leaving Natalie in tears since she’s never met anyone like him before. Yeah, yeah.
Gia developed a plan for everyone to vote Kiptyn out, so she spread the word among the outsider girls.
That night, prior to the Elimination Ceremony, Chris Harrison came in looking like he came from a ho down and grabbed the wrong tie (brown plaid shirt with a lavender tie? Come on now). Elizabeth compared her relationship with Jesse K. to that of Tenley and Kiptyn, upon which Tenley commented on the obvious difference with the physical aspect of each. Elizabeth got a little defensive, and Tenley’s face contorted into the crying face again, but the crisis was quickly averted and everyone moved on. The whole group discussed the problems with drama.
The last quick conversations had before the vote was complete were between Dave and Jessie and Kiptyn and Nikki. Jessie said she wasn’t using Dave at all and swore she would vote Craig out. Kiptyn plead with Nikki to get her to vote for Craig instead of him and betray the group she’d already promised to vote out Kiptyn. In the end, his efforts worked, but Jessie’s were just too late, as she and Craig were the next two voted out. Funny how the two that won safety early on last week are the two to go this week. Will the pattern repeat itself next Monday night? Guess we’ll all just have to watch and find out!
