No experience is necessary prior to arrival at the farm. Before anyone is permitted to ride, a short instruction course in riding is given to visitors so they know what to do and how to do it. “It isn’t hard, you just have to remember to breathe and just relax.” All rides must be pre-paid for, in advance by either cash, credit or debit. In the event of inclement weather you are permitted to reschedule your do outing at no additional cost. All rides are 60 minutes or more, depending on your chosen outing. The minimum age requirement for riding is 5 years of age. Maximum weight requirement is 240lbs.
In addition to rides at Buffalo Springs Horse Farm, the folks offer rides at Codorous State Park also. In order to sign up for a ride through Codorous, you must have a minimum of six riders in your party. The minimum age requirement for this venture is 6 years.
