July 20, 2010 — Ryan seacrest, host of ‘American Idol’ announced he will be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the first day of auditions. The DJ and television host took to Twitter.com yesterday afternoon to let fans in the Milwaukee area know he is coming.
“Headed to Milwaukee wed. for @americanidol auds…who is coming out to see us?”
This is the second stop on the American Idol audition tour the first city was Nashville. Interestingly Milwaukee has been different than other venues as Idol has been extremely clear they don’t want people camping out over night at the venue. Instead, the wristbands for the Wednesday auditions are being handed out in a first come first serve. Then contestants are asked to come back on Wednesday morning 5am to get in line and start the process.
Sounds like Ryan and the rest of the crew will be there bright and early to find a contestant or two in the city. The new season of Idol starts in only a couple of months!
