The Fastest 5k in the Northland. The whole race is either downhill or flat! Starting in the south parking lot of the Platte South YMCA, head south on 9hwy, veer right onto Main Street, enter English landing park, turn left at the baseball fields to get on the trail. Proceed on the 2 mile loop, and finish at the stage by the playgrounds.
ALL PARKING WILL BE AT ENGLISH LANDING PARK. Buses will run from 7:30 – 9:30AM to transport runners up to the start at the YMCA. You may also be dropped off at the start by a friend or family members. **There will be no transportation to get you back to the YMCA after the race.
A Chance for Children 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run

Entry fee for 5k is $25 on or before July 21, $30 from July 22 to August 20 and $30 on race day. Registration is $10 for kids’ fun run.
A Chance for Children will benefit our community’s youngest members, who live daily with the life-changing effects of cancer or serious illnesses requiring intensive care. The KU Kids Healing Place will help not only the patients, but their loved ones, to cope with the child’s illness.

The race will start in the parking lot of St John LaLande Church, take off onto NW Range St. and venture up Mock Ave, crossing over 15th St, passing by Blue Springs HS looping back around and ending at the Church for a 3.1 mile voyage.
Walkers are welcome and there will be a 1 mile fun run available.
To guarantee a race day t-shirt please register by August 1st.
No refunds, the race will take place rain or shine. Time chips will not be provided and awards will not be given
