Red Dead Redemption has been proving itself to be the breakout hit of the year. Rockstar has once again proven that they are always the “top of their game”.
After releasing a free DLC (Downloadable Content) pack just about a month ago, Rockstar has now hit us with information that they are going to be releasing FOUR new DLC packs for the game. The developers are making sure this game lasts as long as possible in the hands of gamers. The first of the four packs will be released in August and the rest to follow sometime after.
Here are the DLC packs announced:
Liars and Cheats:
-Attack and Defend Multiplayer Mode and Challenges
-New Competitive Modes, Mini-games in Free Roam, and more.
-New Multiplayer Horse Races with Mounted Combat.
-Ability to Play as the Heroes and Villains of the Main Story, as well as 8 Additional Multiplayer Characters.
-A New Weapon, the Explosive Rifle, along with challenges in multiplayer and single player associated with the weapon.
-Multiplayer versions of Poker and Liars Dice.
All with a $9.99 price tag (or 800 MS points), and a release date to be announced soon.
-Additional Free Roam Challenges.
-New Action Areas and Defensive Placements.
-New Anti-griefing Measures in Free Roam.
-Posse Scoring and Leaderboards.

Legends and Killers Pack:
-9 New Multiplayer Map Locations
-8 New Multiplayer Characters, Including ones from Red Dead Revolver.
-A New Projectile Weapon, The Tomahawk, along with Challenges in Single Player and Multiplayer.
-New Achievements and Trophies.
Pricing $9.99 (800 MS Points), To Be Released The Beginning of August 2010.
Undead Nightmare Pack:
-Ghost Towns and Cemeteries come alive, and something has gone wrong.
-Brand New Single Player Adventure, Quests, and Challenges.
-8 New Multiplayer Zombie Characters.
-New Animals are Unleashed into the World.
-New Dynamics Events, and more.
Pricing is $9.99 (800 MS Points), release date is unknown.
Sounds like Rockstar has quite the bundle of new items and tasks to keep the players of Red Dead Redemption busy. These DLC packs will definitely extend the shelf-life of your copy of the game.
