A relationship with my child, is it possible?
So, the kids are back to school, but as a parent we still need to have a strong relationship
with them, correct? They tend to come home from school and either lounge on the couch
or go straight to the video games; and the weekends are another issue all together. If you are
like me, I want to know where my children are on the weekends!! So, what can we do with our
children in the Raleigh area to establish and develop some new relationships with our children
or stepchildren? Well, if you have a child on your hands that is interested in cooking or learning
how to cook; how about Classy Kids Cook in Cary. It is a cooking as well as etiquette training
center & they are located at 1240 NW Maynard Road, Cary. Their web address is:
www.classykidscook.com. If you are looking for something a little less expensive, how about the
FREE movies that are offered at The Raleigh Grande every Tuesday & Wednesday at 10am!!
Obviously, this only works for children that are tracked out or on days off of traditional calendar
schools, but did I mention that it is FREE!! The website is RaleighGrande.com & their address is
4840 Grove Barton Road. Finally, something my children and I discovered is a lot of fun (& free to
Kindergartners this Saturday from 9-11am, which I am fortunate to have!) is Marbles Kids Museum.
The website is www.marbleskidsmuseum.org & their address is 201 East Hargett Street, in downtown
Raleigh. So, get out there and have fun with your kids!
