The James Montgomery Band closes this year’s Blues Barge series at the Boston Harbor Hotel from 6-10PM.
The last concert this summer at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA is by the reggae group Inner Visions beginning at 7PM.
My Morning Jacket opens for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at 7PM at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. They repeat the performances on Saturday—same time, same place.
The Manchester (Vermont) Music Festival features Young Artists in Opera at 7:30PM at the Southern Vermont Arts Center.

Alternate Rock band The B-52’s perform at Boarding House Park on French Street in Lowell, MA at 7:30PM.
Tony Bennett performed in New England last weekend and is still in the region, this time at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT with a start time of 7:30PM.
Jo Dee Messina combines with John M. Montgomery for some country music at the Cumberland County Civic Center commencing at 7PM.

Jefferson Starship continues their 40th anniversary tour at Jonathan’s Restaurant in Qgunquit, ME on Friday (8PM) and again at Indian Ranch in Webster, MA on Saturday (2PM).
Steve Azar opens for Reba McEntyre at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday and again at the Meadowbrook Pavilion in Gilford, NH on Saturday. Both shows start at 8PM.

The U.S. Air Force’s Thunderbirds are featured at the Westfield International Air Show at Barnes Municipal Airport in Westfield, MA. The show runs from 9AM to 5PM both days.
The Newport Winefest & Kitchen Tasting event takes place from 5PM-10PM each day at the Newport (RI) Yachting Center.
Mississippi Heat and Toni Lynn Washington headline the North River Blues Festival at the Marshfield (MA) Fairgrounds on Saturday. Sunday features Tommy Castro and Guitar Shorty. The festival runs from 10AM to 10PM on both days.
The White Mountain Boogie and Blues Festival’s many performers include Sonny Moorman and the Rusty Wright Band on Saturday plus Eden Brent and Ruthie Foster on Sunday. Make your way up to the Sugar Shack Campground on Rte. 175 in North Thornton, NH by noon each day.
