Atlanta, GA (August 13, 2010) – Kendal Richardson ran a busy campaign effort in 2009 for a seat on the Atlanta City Council. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Participants and volunteers will march from the city’s West End community (starting at the Quality Plaza located at 1241 Joseph E. Boone Blvd) and conclude on the Georgia State Capitol Building in downtown Atlanta where various musical guests will perform.
Invited musical guests include: Gospel recording artists Sherrie McCrary, Demon Killa, Saila Rachelle, Michael Cole, and more.
“HIV/AIDS is a global epidemic and it is taking a toll on our youth here in Atlanta, it my prayer that through this event we can promote awareness, prevention, and provide hope to those directly and indirectly affected by this disease,” says Richardson.
