Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan has had her share of legal troubles. A couple of weeks ago, the singer was sentenced to jail for violation of her sentence. The actress is generating headlines today, as she surrendered herself, and is set to serve her 90-day sentence.
According to the report by Us Magazine, Lohan “arrived around 8:36 a.m. at Beverly Hills Superior Court Tuesday morning to be taken into custody and start a 90-day jail term for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession case.”
Lohan’s famous friends have come out in support of her, including Kim Kardashian, and even her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson was seen visiting the star at the sober living facility that she was in — which is owned by Robert Shapiro who at one point signed on to represent her. Robert Shapiro has reportedly resigned and will not be representing the star.
Lohan is working on new projects, and it is being reported that they will wait for the actress until she is ready to come back to work, after she deals with her sentence.
What do you think about Lohan’s sentence — do you think that the sentence should have been lenient, or does 90 days seem like a good term of time?
