The Landmark Theater is dedicated to providing all their patrons with a pleasurable experience, including seating for the disabled.
The City purchased the Mosque from the Shriners in 1940 and a 1994-95 renovation restored its splendor. One of the best known and most striking buildings in Richmond, the Landmark also ranks among the City’s most popular stages for theatrical and musical performances.
Some of America’s greatest entertainers have appeared on stage beneath its towering minarets and desert murals. Known for its excellent acoustics, the Landmark now offers seating for 3,565. The Landmark’s ballroom is also host of numerous gala affairs and the ballroom has a capacity of 1,000 and a seated capacity of 600.
Richmond’s Landmark Theater is located to the west of downtown Richmond, across from historic Monroe Park. The City of Richmond owned theater is nestled in the middle of the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University and it now plays host to a variety of events including Broadway productions, The Richmond Forum, concerts, comedians, children’s theater, lectures, school commencements and fashion shows.

Where can you purchase disabled tickets?
Disabled seating is available by request at any Ticketmaster outlet, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and the Landmark Theater Box Office. Please indicate when buying tickets if you require accessible seating.
How many tickets may you purchase?
Seating for persons with disabilities is limited, therefore only one additional ticket is allowed for an attendant within the same section. If other tickets are needed, they will be placed as close as possible to the disabled section.
When can you purchase disabled seating?
Disabled Seating is available on the first day of public on sale.
Where should you enter the building?
The main theater entrance is on Laurel Street near the intersection of Main Street, under the marquee. If you need further assistance, please call their office at 804-646-0546, Monday-Friday 9:00am -5:00pm.
Restrooms are ADA accessible and are located on the ballroom/basement level, the Grand Tier and Balcony Levels. Bathrooms are not available in the main lobby.
Animals are not permitted in the Landmark Theater. Exceptions include guide, sign or signal dogs to aide patrons with disabilities.
