Being fashion forward is so chic, and so was the Primp Clothing party held last night (Aug. 18) at miX Lounge inside THEhotel at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Celebrities and VIPs came out in droves to support the Spring 2011 collection and the launch of Primp Korea. The fun and flirty women’s clothing and accessories line was a hit as celebs donned their favorite pieces on the red carpet.
First to arrive was “Dancing with the Stars” sweetheart Karina Smirnoff, looking radiant in a white mini dress with flesh peep toe heels. Prior to hitting the red carpet, Smirnoff dined with friends at the exquisite miX restaurant. The group enjoyed delicious cuisine such as gnocchi, veggie medley and salmon tartare while sipping on specialty pomegranate cocktails and champagne. After dinner, Smirnoff sparkled on the carpet as she posed with various Primp Clothing handbags and then headed up to miX Lounge to celebrate.
Also on the red carpet was Brandi Cyrus (Miley’s older half-sister), Everlife singer Julia Ross and Frank and Derol musician Codi Caraco. All three girls posed with hip Primp handbags before heading upstairs to celebrate with Smirnoff. Making a guest appearance was Damian Whitewood, another “Dancing with the Stars” alum who recently partnered with Pamela Anderson on the hit television show. Whitewood and his wife were adorable as they cuddled at a private VIP table on the outdoor patio of miX Lounge. Others to hit the carpet were “America’s Got Talent” alum Recycled Percussion, actor Vincent De Paul, Primp designer Wells Butler and owner of Primp Clothing Greg Lorber.
Making a late but fashionable arrival with beau Jesse Waits was Jayde Nicole, 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year. The svelte “Hills” alum looked gorgeous in an orange Primp dress and black pumps. After posing solo, Nicole pulled the rest of her Playboy Playmates on the red carpet including Kara Kramer, Stacy Fuson and “Kendra” star Jessica Hall.
Located high atop THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, miX Lounge offers stellar cocktail concoctions, an innovative bar menu and a seductive blend of music spun by savvy DJs. Guests can reserve a table indoors or step out on the 64th-floor balcony and enjoy breathtaking views of the famed Las Vegas Strip. Before partying the night away, guests are invited to experience miX’s mouth-watering, one-of-a-kind culinary creations. The adjoining restaurant features contemporary and classic French and American dishes with global accents, as well as signature dishes from Chef Alain Ducasse’s restaurants in Paris and Monte Carlo.
