Wednesday night was a big one for Disney Channel fans, as the Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas all stepped out with Demi Lovato in New York for the big premiere of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” which will debut on the network September 3. Demi proclaims that the sequel will be “bigger” than anything viewers saw the first time around, and that also seemed to hold true for the grand premiere.
So what was the biggest surprise of the evening? Following the actual screening of the TV movie itself, Joe and Demi decided to bust out a performance of “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” a song from the soundtrack. Demi also opened up about some internet rumors suggesting that she and Joe were still “friends with benefits,” a claim that led to some legal action from the middle child of the Jonas Brothers.
“All three of them will defend me, because they’re my brothers, they have my back,” Lovato said to People Magazine. “And I’ll defend them any day, too.”
Are you excited for the movie’s TV premiere?
