If perfection was staring us right in the face, how would we recognize it? Unless the eye of perfection is turned on inside of you, you could be looking at angels, or the most perfect creation there is dead on, and you would not be able to see it, or recognize it. This is blindness, and we are all blind until we are given the eyes to see.
In the natural we accept just about anything that will give us a moment or two of understanding, or the best we can determine to be rational. Inside of each one of us is a desire for a pure form of Truth and Perfection.
Who is that mask man that keeps prodding us at our soul to seek anything. Friends we are all born with a measure of faith. That is about enough to believe that you are going to get paid at the end of the week for the work you have done. It really isn’t much when you consider the fact that the faith of a mustard seed can move a mountain. So the little faith we have keeps us looking for more as it has a unquenchable desire to be feed and exercised. It is the doorway to the perfection we are all looking for, and it is the knowing that tells us there is more. It is the desire for truth, even to the so called Atheist. Even they do not like to be lied to, and they believe that there is no God.
Believing is in what you cannot see, so believing that there isn’t something takes the same amount of faith that it takes to believe in something. Both options are not a material object. So when it comes time in God, and you are in the right circumstances, He will give you the opportunity to chose Him as Lord. He is Lord even if you don’t choose Him and He is perfect. His perfection is what He wants to give you, but you must allow Him to do it. He will never violate your free will, and neither will the prince of darkness, namely satan. You will always have a choice even if it is suppressed by substances or other addictions. We all have the choice to act or not to act on our impulses and thoughts. When we are substituting one god or another for the real God, it still takes faith to believe you will get a result, perfect or not.
So why do we opt for less then perfect? The reason goes back to what was said previously. There is NOT perfection in the natural mind. If you bring one particle of the old even towards the new, the new will close the door. Why? Because it cannot dwell in the same mindset. You cannot be old and new at the same time, and the only place that perfection can be found is in a brand new mind. This has to be a daily routine because even if you start right this moment with a brand new deck, you must die to, “ what was”, continually.
If you let your anointing slip, the old is waiting to contaminate the perfect mind you are reflecting. A great barometer is this. Everything that comes from the outside in, can be contaminated by knowledge to some degree. In other words even if it is truth, it will be interpreted by the perception of the messenger. So if the messenger is not in perfection the message will not be either. So how do we determine what we are processing with our senses to be from God or not? He gives us the gift of discernment, that comes with His Holy Spirit baptism. God’s discernment is the only way to determine what is perfect and what isn’t. That leaves it all at the door again. We must surrender all that we think we know in exchange for what God knows, and we will at least step into perfection for a moment. When we do, we will see reality and reality is perfection, and we will know it. It is not our perfection it is Gods’, but we were made in the image of that. So we can attain it, and we can maintain it, but not without the perfect mind of Christ. This is the whole Salvation purpose in a nut shell. It is to return us to the place where we are living our destiny as perfect as our discipline will allow. You will never perfect the old nature. It is impossible. You must rid yourself of all that is old, and take on a new mind that is already perfect in the reflection of God Almighty. Let NOTHING come between you and God’s mind.
