Your Walt Disney World vacation can only be made better if you were to get something for free when you head out to the house of the mouse. And what do you know, they’ve just announced a great number of chances for you to do just that.
The Walt Disney World resort just released the scheduled dates that are available for the free “Disney Dining Plan” or “DDP.” It can also be considered as the “Magic Your Way Plan plus Free Dining.” Either way, it means free meals for you and your family.
Vacation packages must be booked for particular dates starting on October 1, 2010 through September 29, 2011. Full dates listed below.
Guests must reserve a Magic Your Way vacation plan to the Walt Disney World resort and it must be a minimum of three consecutive nights along with a two-day base ticket. These plans included a non-discounted room and your park tickets. Trust me, with the free dining plan included; it’s worth it to stay even longer.
Book you and your family into a “value resort” and you’ll receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Those reserving packages at the “moderate,” “deluxe,” or “deluxe villas” resorts will receive the standard Magic Your Day Plus Dining for free. Either way, you can’t really beat it.
Available dates for free dining:
~ October 1 – October 7, 2010
~ October 22 – October 28, 2010
~ November 12 – November 18, 2010
~ November 27 – December 2, 2010
~ December 10 – December 21, 2010
~ January 1 – January 5, 2011
~ January 9 – January 13, 2011
~ January 21 – February 3, 2011
~ February 11 – February 17, 2011
~ February 25 – March 3, 2011
~ May 27 – June 6, 2011
~ August 19 – September 29, 2011
If you’re planning a Disney vacation during those times, I suggest you book it soon. Remember, you don’t need the full amount of your vacation right away but a deposit is required. My hastiness is shown here because these free dining plans are subject to availability and sometimes “run out,” so to speak.
Upgrades are possible though for some nominal charges. If those with the Quick Service Dining Plan would like to upgrade to the standard plan, then the normal difference between the two plans would be required. Those starting out with the free Disney Dining Plan may upgrade to the deluxe and that would also require payment for the differential between the two.
For reservations, please call 1-407-W-Disney or 1-407-939-7926.
They can also be made at Book WDW. The code necessary to ask for these plans is “NL7,” but most times they’ll know exactly what you’re talking about anyway. And remember, get on this quickly so you don’t miss out.
