World renowned gospel music Ambassador and TV stars Dr. Bobby Jones and the Nashville Super Choir (seen every Sunday on B. E. T.) will be performing at Reggie Gay’s Choir Festival on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Covenant Ministries Cathedral located at 1700 Covenant Blvd. Decatur, GA 30032 where Bishop Quincy L. Carswell is the Senior Pastor. The festival begins at 4 PM. The festival is a monthly music fellowship and networking created to expose and give business advice to local gospel talent. The festival will also offer great potential business opportunities for musicians, producers, marketing reps, and entertainment attorneys who are welcome to attend. About Reggie Gay
Reggie is a talented, trend setting gospel radio/TV personality in Atlanta, GA and one of the most recognized gospel disc jockeys in America. In a short period of time his name became synonymous with gospel music in Atlanta via KISS 104.1 and on GLORY 1340. Reggie Gay Inc. syndicates the program in Atlanta on AM 1260 WTJH-weekdays 6am-10am (westside) and AM 1420 WATB-weekdays 7am-9am (eastside). Reggie is an Advisory Board Member of The Stellar Awards, active with The Gospel Music Workshop of America Radio Announcers’ Guild; a community activists, member of The Atlanta Association of Black Journalists and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. His charities are Reef House (an after school children’s program), Roots Adoption Agency and the “Suitcases for Kids” program that he created to raise money to buy luggage for Georgia’s foster children. Reggie is a Consultant for music groups and radio networks nationwide. Additionally, he’s heard as the “Band Announcer” for the Morris Brown College Marching Wolverines in the Hollywood smash hit movie “Drum Line” and he also makes a cameo appearance as a “Security Guard” in the blockbuster film “Fighting Temptations” Academics/Memberships/Awards. In 1984 he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcasting, (Radio & Television) from Eastern Kentucky University. Randy is a member and associate minister at 2nd Mount Vernon Baptist, Atlanta, GA. Over the years he has also received many awards.
