Lover, Lover is #1
Jerrod Niemann hit #1 of the country charts with his album release as well #1 for his single, “Lover, Lover.” He celebrated earlier this week in Louisville at Joe’s Older Than Dirt Bar. Just a year ago, Jerrod was performing in Lexington at the Tin Roof. He will be opening for Gary Allan, along with Randy Houser for a tour this fall. Ralph Emery Going to the Hall
Country icon Ralph Emery is a 2010 National Radio Hall of Fame inductee in the Local or Regional – Pioneer category. The legend continues to have his tv show on RFD-TV on Monday nights.
Trace Adkins, Lee Brice, Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, Craig Morgan, Carrie Underwood and Ricky Skaggs lead mainstream country nominees for the 16th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards. Inside Edition’s Megan Alexandar will host the Oct. 14 event to be held at the Trinity Music City Auditorium in Goodlettsville, TN.
Tanya Tucker Lawsuit
Tanya Tucker filed a lawsuit against Nashville producer Gregg A. Brown for more than $170,000. The lawsuit claims that Brown kept seven master recordings and 29 video recordings that belong to Tucker and left around $60,000 in production fees unpaid. On top of that, he reportedly ran up a $5,000 limousine bill and was involved in an accident while driving Tucker’s vehicle.
