2K will not only be releasing the standard version of Sid Meier’s Civilization V, but a special edition version as well.
So far it’s heading to just the UK on September 24 for £59.99 and includes:
- 5 metal figurines based on units from Civilization V and manufactured by Reaper Miniatures
- 2 disc CD soundtrack of game score selections
- DVD “Behind the Scenes at Firaxis on Civilization V”
- 176 page hardcover art book
No word on a US release for the special edition, but we will surely grab some answers for you.
I recently received the pr email detailing the US special edition for Civilization V:
