Note: Contact the People’s Unified Command Center to support Barefoot Doctor’s grassroots effort to aid Gulf Coast residents survive being poisoned. Remember: if you “feel” at the back of your throat or taste the oil, you have been poisoned, even though injury and long-term suffering will not occur for you until later. Even if you cannot smell it or feel it, it can still harm you. Barefoot Doctors are distributing survival kits to help counter and prevent being poisoned.
The government-BP partnerhship continues to lie that there is no public health crisis in the Gulf Coast region and that the food web is not being altered. Scientists report early signs of the Gulf of Mexico oil catastrophe altering the marine food web by killing or tainting some creatures and spurring growth of others that thrive on fouled environments according to Matthew Brown and Ramit Plushnick-Masti in their Common Dreams article.
“Near the spill site, researchers have documented a massive die-off of pyrosomes – cucumber-shaped, gelatinous organisms fed on by endangered sea turtles.
Along the coast, droplets of oil are being found inside the shells of young crabs that are a mainstay in the diet of fish, turtles and shorebirds.
Rep. Ed Markey, D-Mass., chair of a House committee investigating the spill, warned Tuesday of toxic oil entering seafood stocks as predators eat contaminated marine life, common sense.
Federal wildlife officials, however, say “impacts are not irreversible, and no tainted seafood has yet been found.“
“You can’t count on government agencies like the FDA and the EPA to protect you,” stated Dr. Russell Blaylock last week,
“They don’t share their concerns over contaminants with us — the general public — through the media or through public alerts.
Four billion pounds of seafood are eaten annually and, according to Dr. Russell Blaylock, it contains extremely dangerous contaminants such as mercury (one of the most poisonous metals in existence), PCBs, dioxins, pesticides, and herbicides are being found in high concentrations in some of the most popular fish eaten today, particulalry dangerous to unborn babies and children.
Depopulation on a mass scale is being implemented.
Lies that officials are spreading about the catastrophe might be better exposed if the Obama administration was treated to a Cajun seafood dinner, straight out of the Gulf – on camera.
Meanwhile, 120,000 barrels of toxic crude oil a day continues to gush into the Gulf, the total estimate being up to 182 million gallons of oil and approximately 12 billion cubic feet of natural gas according to Brown and Plushnick-Masti.
Dr. Riki Ott has stated that if public health officials will not sound this public health alarm, she will – and she did after evidencing children burned and their ears bleeding from the combined oil and Corexit. If touching the water and breathing the poisoned air does that to children, the impact on fish is devastating, basic common sense.
