Celebrity weddings are seen by millions which means celebrity wedding dresses, flowers and details are on mass public display. Also under the paparazzi lens are the bodies of the brides! Most recently in wedding dress bliss are celebrity stars Carrie Underwood and Emily Blunt who were married on the same weekend.
Carrie Underwood workout: A balanced regimen of cardio, weight training and diet
Most recently hitched in a “not overblown” $500K ceremony, Carrie Underwood married NFL pro Mike Fisher and used a perfect balance program to whittle her waist. Utilizing a vegetarian diet and a pre-wedding workout program consisting of evenly-balanced cardio and weight training, Underwood was able to look fabulous on her wedding day and on her Tahiti honeymoon.
“My favourite thing is cardio,” Carrie said in a recent interview. “It helps the pounds melt off and it gives me so much more energy. Now when I’m performing and running around the stage, it’s no big deal, whereas before I was gasping for breath.”
In addition to keeping a consistent routine, the 27-year-old American Idol star also kept a food journal to chart her progress. While she was good to keep things healthy the majority of the time, Carrie found ways in her diet to allow for splurges.
“I discovered that writing down everything I eat makes such a difference, because you never realize how much you’re consuming unless you read it later in the day,” she told StarStyle after the Nashville Rising charity concert. “I’m a big nighttime eater. When I can look at my diary and see how many calories I’ve consumed during the day, I’m able to figure out how much I can eat at night.”
Carrie also enlisted the help of personal trainer Tony Greco. To read more about their workouts, click here…
Emily Blunt: A Zen approach to her celebrity wedding workout
While Carrie Underwood’s wedding workout consisted of structure and clean eating, actress Emily Blunt allowed for a more free-flowing approach to her wedding dress workout consisting of yoga, Pilates and Tracy Anderson’s lengthening and strengthening workouts.

“I really like doing Pilates as well and yoga,” the Charlie Wilson’s War star told HollywoodLife.com. “And all those lengthening exercises … Probably like four, sometimes five times a week,” she added, referring to Tracy Anderson’s dance workout DVD’s. “It’s so hard.”
Tracy Anderson has assisted in sculpting the hot bodies of Madonna, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow. Using her own, devised method consisting of a mix between Pilates, dancing and targeted muscle work, Tracy promises she can change any woman’s body with her moves.
