On Saturday, former “American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood married NHL player Mike Fisher in a wedding that took place at the Reynolds Plantation resort in Greensboro, Georgia. Underwood and Fisher’s wedding, oddly enough, was the same day that NBA star Carmelo Anthony and former MTV host Lala Vasquez exchanged vows.

Underwood, 27, won the fourth season of “American Idol.” Fisher, 30, plays for the Ottawa Senators.
Last month, Carrie Underwood won Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year at the 2010 CMT Awards.
