It’s Day 43 in the Big Brother house and this may just be the biggest HOH competition this year! Rachel has been evicted from the house and Brandon has his sights on the HOH because if he loses; he is pretty much guaranteed to be nominated and evicted from the Big Brother house next week.
Three hours before the eviction, Enzo and Hayden decide to make a side alliance with Brandon (unbeknownst to anyone else in the house). They spoke and decided that if one of them wins the HOH competition, Britney and Ragan will be put on the block. Throughout the entire competition Lane was a step away, but in the end Brandon came up as the winner, much to the dismay to Ragan and Britney. Remember, Britney’s only hope to be 100% this week was if Lane won the HOH competition. As the new HOH, Brandon had the pleasure of picking the three “Have-Not’s” for the week. To nobody’s surprise, he picked Ragan, Britney, and Matt to have this distinct “pleasure”. This will be the third week in a row that Ragan will be a “Have-Not”. This will definitely hinder his game play.
Hayden and Enzo discuss their game play and decide that they have to get dirty and break up a Brigade side alliance. Meaning, they are gunning after Britney & Lane and/or Matt & Ragan. Hayden and Enzo are definitely playing the games for themselves and are not thinking about ‘The Brigade’ as a whole. However, not all things go as planned, as Brandon tells Hayden and Enzo that he is thinking about putting up Lane and Britney for eviction. This obviously doesn’t sit well with Enzo, as they want to keep Lane (fellow ‘Brigade’ member) in the house.
It’s time for another Saboteur message and Ragan decides (through America’s vote) to play the “Annie Card” and kept her initial saboteur “life long friends” angle. Ragan decides to step it up a little bit and tells the house that one of the friends is male and the other is female. Putting a target directly on the only females left in the house in Britney and Kathy. As part as ‘America’s Vote’, the viewers decided what the ‘Have-Not’s’ are able to eat for the week and they are able to feast on Eggplant and Escargot, which for those of you who are unaware, is a fancy word for snails. Mmm……time to eat up houseguests!
In a last ditch effort, Ragan decides to talk to Brandon in the HOH room and proposes a side alliance. He even tries to butter up Brandon in saying that absolutely no one in the house would ever assume they would have an alliance since there is so much hatred on their parts for each other. This gets Brandon thinking and later on in the day, he decides to call Britney up to the HOH room and asks her about her thoughts on an alliance. She obviously tells Brandon what he needs to hear and says: “What you do for me, I’ll do for you”.
It’s time for the Nomination ceremony and surprise, surprise; Lane and Ragan are up for eviction. Brandon’s reason is that he wants people to fight to be in the house and that no one floats by in the game (on his watch). I have to admit, as much as I have not been a fan of Brandon and Rachel in the game, perhaps Brandon playing alone will be the best situation for him in the house.
