Central Washington State Fair will feature local and regional acts on the Pacific Power Community Stage and the Gazebo. Some of these acts are returning family favorites. Families enjoy all different
flavors of music so you can’t go wrong at the fair this year.
Fair headliner acts are free with fair admission. Reserved seating will be available for those of you that want to guarantee a great seat for a favorite act. The free seating is in the bleachers; reserved seating is on the asphalt area in front of the Budweiser Stage. There will be plenty of standing room too! Tickets for all acts will be sold through TicketsWest and at the State Fair Park Box Office, 1301 S. Fair Avenue, Yakima. Families of all ages will certainly be in for a musical or comedic treat!
Saturday, September 25, ‘Guess Who’ will be performing. Ticket prices for the reserved seating is $16. The concert begins at 7:30pm. The Guess Who were major stars in their homeland and found international success in the late 1960s with several hit singles, including “American Woman”, “These Eyes” and “Share the Land”. Old and new rockers will definitely enjoy this performance!
Sunday, September 26, ‘Williams & Ree’ will perform for fairground audiences at 6:00 pm. Reserved seating tickets are $11. They have shared the stage with acts such as Garth Brooks, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Tim McGraw in addition to hosting COUNTRY KITCHEN with Florence Henderson, a show that entertained audiences for over 10 years. This is a comedy act you won’t want to miss!
Tuesday, September 28, Bill Engvall will perform his comedy act beginning at 7:00pm. Reserved seating tickets are $31. Bill Engvall’s performance will be a special treat for fairgoers. This is definitely something you want to see!
Wednesday, September 29, Clay Walker will take the stage and rock the bandstand with his country music at 7:00pm. Reserved seating tickets are $21. Clay Walker has placed 31 titles on Billboard’s singles Chart and currently has a new album out.
Thursday, September 30, Collective Soul will be performing. Reserved ticket seating is $26. Collect Soul burst onto the music scene in 1993 with a rock anthem titled “Shine” and has been making music ever since.
Friday, October 1, Pablo Cruise will take the stage. Reserved ticket seating is $11. Pablo Cruise released their first album titled “Pablo Cruise” and began the climb to the top ten with megahits like “Love will find a Way”. After a 20 year hiatus the band reformed with a new bassist/vocalist and began touring in 2009. This will be a stellar performance for all rock and rollers!
Saturday, October 2, Bucky Covington will perform for fairgoers. Reserved ticket seating is $11. Bucky Covington has earned a place in the forefront of a new generation of country singers. He was the best selling debuting artist of 2007. His unique voice and talent makes him a true standout.
Sunday, october 3, an as yet to be named Latino Act will be performing. Keep checking the fairfun.com website to see who will be performing.
