In Rachel’s Diary Room session clip that was shown at the very beginning of the episode, we learned that she had indeed lied to Britney about possibly putting Lane up in Hayden’s place if she used the POV just to scare her out of using it. (I think I hate this girl more and more every episode, by the way). Kristen seems to be falling apart and crying quite a lot these days, which made her look even more ridiculous in that Hippie Tard.
Rachel told Brendon that this was “great for them because they split up another strong alliance.” Yes, almighty and powerful Rachel. Would you like a cookie for all your hard work? A pat on the back for being a catty bully and causing drama? Hayden also totally lied to Brenchel – he said no hard feelings for the situation, and they reassured him that Kristen has always been the target for eviction this week – not him.
Britney went in to talk to Hayden and Kristen to tell them what happened with Rachel and why she didn’t use the POV. Afterward, Hayden and Kristen kept talking, and they came to the realization they wouldn’t see each other for at least two months. He also told her it was okay if she wanted to campaign, which should have thrown up a red flag for Kristen – why would Hayden tell her to go campaign against him? He had to know he had secured votes to stay in the house, so her campaigning wouldn’t effect him.
Meanwhile, Britney, Matt, and Ragan were chilling in the HOH Room while Brenchel was outside sharing STD’s in the hammock when Britney and Matt thought it’d be fun to try on Rachel’s hair extensions. Britney took it to the next level and ran around the room, saying “Floaters, grab your life vests…Kristen!” and imitating Rachel’s famous lines. Much to their surprise, Brenchel walked in during the middle of the performance, but Rachel was too clueless and laughed right along and thought it was the funniest thing.
Kristen started her campaigning, trying to tell other people about the connection she was making with the Brigade alliance. Ragan and Britney claimed to be thinking the same thing, but Brendon just sort of sat there and mumbled along while Kristen talked.
Kristen, the fourth house guest evicted. (CBS.com)
Julie asked the house guests some questions, as she does every week. First, she asked Hayden about Solitary Confinement, and he confessed he regretted not taking the $5,000 cash prize instead. The house guests were shown footage from their luxury competition, which left them all laughing at the awkward ending position Hayden, Enzo, and Brendon ended up in. Britney admitted Ragan was the most difficult to live with because of his smelly gas.
Big Brother had also interviewed Hayden’s Mom and Kristen’s (ex) boyfriend about the Hayden/Kristen showmance. Hayden’s mom called Kristen crazy, and Kristen’s boyfriend seemed like a big jerk. The guy is obviously angry, but they were only dating for two months before she left, and he acts like they were married. Plus, Hayden’s much better looking.
Julie talked to Rachel in the HOH Room, and Rachel said she and Brendon would like to pull Britney into their alliance. (Yeah, good luck with that one). She also said Matt is their biggest target in the house right now.
Finally, it was time for the votes. As expected, the only vote to keep Kristen in the house came from Kathy, while the rest of the house was unanimous in their decision to keep Hayden around. When Kristen was shown the good-bye messages, it seemed certain there was no way Rachel could throw in a line about coming in between “her and her man” like she has every other week, yet she still managed to say that AND told Kristen she was the definition of the word “b***h.” (Look in the mirror, crazy lady!) Brendon pretty much told Kristen she was nuts for suspecting Hayden’s alliance, only to be followed by Hayden confession about the Brigade. (It’s going to be great when Brendon finally knows what’s going on and feels completely stupid for what he said to Kristen). As for what Kristen is going to do about this love triangle she’s put herself in? She’s going to take some time alone and figure things out for herself.
Ragan, the potential new Saboteur. (CBS.com)
Julie revealed to the viewers that the new Saboteur vote came down to Enzo and Ragan, but that Ragan had squeezed out and won the vote. If the new HOH chooses to open Pandora’s Box, the new Saboteur will be unleashed.
The HOH Competition was another endurance competition. The house guests had to stand around a giant, spinning paint can and hang on for as long as possible while getting splattered in the face with painted and slapped with a giant rubber paint brush. The first person to fall down would also be the one and only Have Not for the week. The show ended before the results of the competition could be revealed, and everyone was still holding on at the end. To find out how it all ended up, read the spoiler section below!
HOH Competition SPOILERS: The first house guest to drop was Kathy. (Big surprise there, right?) Next came Enzo, then Brendon, then Hayden, Lane, and Britney all around the same time. That left Ragan and Matt, and it appeared as though they made another deal, Ragan threw the competition, and Matt is the new HOH. Looks like Brenchel is finally going down…
