Last week Thursday, Big Brother left off with the house guests trying to figure out who the Saboteur was. Last night, they picked right up where the last episode left off, as the group continued to speculate and accuse each other of the crime.
Then, Hayden came down and asked if everyone wanted to come and see his HOH room, which they, of course, always do. I must admit, the house is decorated pretty cool this season, and the HOH room was no exception.
In the meantime, Brendon and Rachel basically fell in love on the hammock with Annie sitting there awkwardly with them while it happened, Annie confessed to Ragan that she has a girlfriend back home, Brendon and Rachel continued to bond over science out in the hot tub, and Enzo tried to strike up a mastermind alliance with Hayden, Lane, and Matt. (This included nicknaming each of the guys, of course).
For the Have/Have Not Competition, the group had to divide up into three teams of four. Hayden dressed as a fairy (still can’t figure out what that had to do with anything), and watched the others crawl through a thick, sticky mess of caramel and into a giant bucket of popcorn to find a tooth. The first two teams with eight teeth each would be the Haves for the week, while the third place team would be the Have Nots. The poor Blue Team consisted of Kathy, Rachel, Matt, and Ragan, and I think they quickly learned how bad it is to have Kathy on your team, as she allowed herself to become completely stuck in the caramel goo and gave up on moving all together. It’s really hard to say if she actually is just terrible at games, or if this is all because she’s the Saboteur. In the end, the Green Team, (Andrew, Kristen, Brendon, and Annie), won, the Pink Team, (Lane, Enzo, Britney, and Monet), came in second, and the Blue Team will be the Have Nots for the week.
The Have Not Room is actually more disgusting than it has been before, this time complete with folding lawn chairs to sleep on, a rotten stench, and maggots. Pleasant.
Kathy said some not-so-nice things to Britney about her performance in the competition, which Britney wasn’t pleased about, considering how badly Kathy did. Sure enough, the next morning when everyone woke up, there were green X’s taped across their faces on their pictures on the wall. Way to go, Saboteur, definitely wreaking havoc now…that’s intense. I find it interesting that two people I noted in my last Big Brother blog were two with the x’s on their pictures. I also noticed that in each of the swimsuit shoot photos, Britney is the one in the center of each picture. She is also the main photo when you visit the Big Brother website to check out the house guest photos. Maybe it’s because she’s young and cute, or maybe it’s because she’s the Saboteur? Who knows. Maybe I’m reading too much into things.
At the nomination ceremony, Hayden nominated Brendon and Rachel for eviction, which is basically what he said he was going to do. No surprises there. Now, we will have to wait and see who wins the Power of Veto Competition on Wednesday night. The nominations are never set in stone until then. Plus, we will all be THAT much closer to finding out who the Saboteur is. Not sure about you, but I’m getting rather anxious. I’m not living in that house – I want to know!
