On the “Big Brother 12” premiere, 13 houseguests charged into the house, claimed beds, and quickly began to get to know one another. Typical of the show, some houseguests chose to be honest, while others, like Matt, chose to hide the fact that he’s a Mensa member.

Julie Chen revealed that there was a mole within their ranks–in a “Big Brother” first, one of the houseguest’s is a “saboteur,” someone who, if he or she makes it five weeks into the game undetected, wins $50,000.
Soon, the houseguests were participating in an HOH competition that was hot dog themed and allowed the contestants a shot at both power in the house and $10,000. Monet, who did win the money, soon realized that winning so much cash paints one as a major target within the house.
During the competition, Britney fell and hurts her leg. She was seen by a medic, and was removed from the competition. Soon after, Hayden became the first HOH of “Big Brother 12.”
