Ali Fedotowsky: on the market, or taken? Viewers will find out the answer to that question after tonight’s Bachelorette finale. But the uncertainty of her relationship status hasn’t kept fans, or past Bachelor stars, from forming their own theories.
Bachelor Pad co-host Melissa Rycroft would like to see Ali with either Chris or Roberto. “I have no idea who she’s going to pick. None,” she told TCA. “I think one of the best things about Bachelor is that whoever you want to win at the beginning is never the person that wins. To me honestly, Frank was my front-runner… he’s out of the picture now. So there’s Chris who I really like. He just seems like a sweet guy and his back story really tugs at your heartstrings and you just want to see him happy. Then you’ve got Roberto, who she just can’t seem to keep her hands off of.”
In a recent video interview, Jason and Molly Mesnick spilled on their theories for who Ali should pick. While Molly thinks Ali picks no one at the end of the finale, they both think she should date Matt Leinart, quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals who she recently met at a charity event and is rumored to be with. “I would pick Matt Leinart,” Jason said and laughed. “Is Matt Leinart on the show?”
- Ali, however, clarified any rumors that she has been canoodling with Leinart. “That’s so not true,” she told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview. “I went to a charity event that he was hosting and we literally took one picture together, and he was standing next to his girlfriend who I was introduced to, so that’s not true.”
Tenley Molzahn, Bachelor star who will also appear on Bachelor Pad, thinks Ali is in a relationship according to Extra. “The most I got out of her is I’m pretty sure she chose somebody.”
Bachelorette star Deanna Pappas thinks it’s possible Ali picked no one in the end. Back in June, Pappas told US Magazine, “If she does pick a final one, I think it will be Roberto.”
Bachelor host Chris Harrison also weighed in on the finale again. “It’s not the usual proposal day our fans are used to seeing,” he told People. “I’m proud of her and she made the right decision for her. I’ve seen her several times since and she couldn’t look better and happier.”
“What happened with Frank really set things in motion and really set her off. She was falling in love with the guy and he was falling in love with her. When she got to Chris and Roberto, from the last-chance dates on, it’s a completely different finale.”
“I think [fans will] appreciate what she does. It will be interesting to see how the fans react.”
Don’t miss the ABC’s Bachelorette finale event, beginning Monday, August 2 at 8pm (EST).
