With four dining outlets, each inspired by a different exotic locale, The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne has morphed into a food, wine & spirits destination incorporating authentic dishes and experiences. The culinary team has created the “Around the World” dining package, enabling guests to virtually “jet set” to each outlet, where they can personally meet with the various chefs and wine & spirits experts and sample signature dishes.
“Gourmands don’t need to leave the resort’s beautiful grounds to experience a range of world-class cuisine,” says General Manager Derek Flint. “This package is a great way for our guests to acclimate themselves to our impressive dining scene and learn directly from the industry’s finest about the latest gastronomic trends.”
For $149 per person, the package takes place over the course of one evening and includes:
DESTINATION 1 – Sultry Evenings in Vintage Havana at RUMBAR: This sophisticated lounge is a throwback to the glamour of Old Havana with 52 rums, piscos and cachacas from 18 countries; cigar collection and select evenings of live music with Grupo Nostalgia who recalls Hemingway days with white dinner jackets and classic Cuban rhythms. Rum experts create tailored rum flights and tropical cocktail recipes, which perfectly complement the newly updated Cuban-inspired menu of light fare.
* The experience commences with a rum tasting with the lounge’s rum expert and chef’s recommendation of two signature menu items
DESTINATION 2 – Lazy Days in St. Tropez at Dune Oceanfront Burger Lounge: Tucked away in the north side of the resort is a restaurant and lounge on the sand channeling the “swank-quil” scene of South of France. From flowing white cabanas and plush lounges, guests allow their thoughts to drift away with the gentle oceanfront breezes, as they enjoy European Lounge music, gourmet burgers and a seemingly endless pour from Jeroboams of rose wine and champagne.

DESTINATION 3 – The Casual Coasts of Mexico at Cantina Beach: Casual al fresco oceanfront setting boasting authentic Coastal Mexican cuisine and South Florida’s largest tequila collection. Presiding over this collection is Florida’s only Tequilier (similar to a Sommelier), who hosts daily tastings and sit-downs to educate guests about the spirit, provide best tasting practices, dispel myths and make pairing suggestions with the restaurant’s menu.
* Experience includes tableside guacamole and sampling of signature dishes by Chiapas-native and Chef de Cuisine Andres Parlange. Tequilier Heriberto Oviedo expertly matches the experience with a tasting of the three different types of tequila (blanco, resposado and añejo) to complement each course
