School is out and your children are home. It’s no secret, Tucson is hot in the summer and sometimes there is just no reprieve. You have exhausted every activity you can think of to entertain the hellions and retain your sanity.
Did you know Tucson hosts an International Children’s Film Festival?
Did you know it runs July 24th – August 1st?
Did you know admission is free?
Join The Loft Cinema and Tucson Medical Center as they present the 2010 International Children’s Film Festival. Who better to host this fun filled week of classics, foreign films, sing-a-longs and just plain silliness than the staff of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle’s Toys. You are sure to enjoy Charolette’s Web, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Bugs Bunny and friends will hit the screen as well. Prize raffles, giveaway gifts and interactive activities are on hand for those lucky in attendance.
The films begin at 10:00a.m. but do remember that it is first come first serve and many features will fill to capacity quickly. What better way to spend a hot summer day than perched on a comfy chair enjoying the antics of Wallace and Gromit with a big tub of popcorn to share? Collect your inner child and I will see you there!
