Now that season five of 19 Kids and Counting is back on the air (much to the delight of millions of fans), what’s next for the super-sized Duggar family and baby Josie? Well, quite a lot, in fact, including the chicken pox and Tony the Frog. Here’s a sneak peek at the next two weeks.
Now that most of the family has relocated back to Springdale, it’s time for Michelle and Josie Duggar to return home from Little Rock. Well, not so fast. Although Jim Bob and Michelle decide it’s time to reunite the family now that Josie is feeling better, there’s a major glitch in their plans. Twelve of the Duggar children come down with the chicken pox, making it impossible for Michelle to return. Although Michelle is disappointed, Jim Bob has the more difficult job of nursing the Duggars through their latest crisis. The next new episode of 19 Kids and Counting airs at 9/8c on Tuesday, August 24th and is called “Duggars Chicken Out.” Of course, it chronicles the Duggars’ not-so-great experience with the chicken pox outbreak.
The next new episode of 19 Kids and Counting is all about Tony the Frog and Life at the Pond. The Duggars unite to make an audio recording for children called 19,000 Frogs and Counting. That’s right, every single Duggar in the house appears in a new audio recording where Tony the Frog is voiced by Jackson Duggar. The audiotape teaches a great lesson on how siblings should treat each other. The 19 Kids and Counting episode that airs on Tuesday, August 31st chronicles the Duggars adventure in the recording studio.
After this episode airs, be sure to check back here for my exclusive interview with Charlie Richards, creator of the Life at the Pond series of CDs. He’ll talk about his experiences of working with the Duggars and explain how fans can order 19,000 Frogs and Counting. The interview is interesting and lively and an in-depth look at the Duggars. “I intended to use the Duggar way of life to teach a lesson to kids. I ended up learning a lesson I’ll never forget,” Richards said.
