Summer is coming to an end, let’s face it. There are still things to do in Cincinnati that will keep things steamy for you and your partner. This weekend is full of endless possibilities, but if you want to stay close to home and not fork out a lot of money, these 10 activities are just for you.
Friday August 20
The most inexpensive thing to do on Friday would be to show your town spirit, watch the Bengals game at 8 o’clock on TV (Fox) and throw a little party.

Saturday August 21
If you aren’t too exhausted from the night before, and especially if you live together, check out West Chester’s Farmers Market from 9-1am. It’s located at The Square at Union Centre. http://westchestersfarmersmarket.com They offer produce, meat and other products from local farmers. The Village of Newtown also has a farm market from 9-7. They offer Amish baked goods, produce, plants and gift baskets.http://www.newtownmarket.com
This one can really be an all day date. It’s the New Richmond River Days. It will be at the New Richmond riverfront. They will have beer, food, games, and rides and on Saturday night, they have fireworks at 10pm. Perfect place for couple to enjoy the end of summer. http://www.newrichmond.com
Traveling outside of town can be fun too. Lawrenceburg Speedway can be a great way to be outside on a cool summer night. The races start at 7, but you can enjoy the grounds starting at 4pm. Sunday August 22
Sunday is always a day to rest, but if the weather is warm, it’s a perfect day to go canoeing. If the river levels are good, you can spend the whole day enjoying nature.
